Now about me. My name is Carina Woolrich and I'm a professional photographer. I didn't just pick up a digital camera and start shooting tours, although some people do it with decent results, that's not me. I graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography with a B.A. in professional photography in 1985. I worked as a commercial photographer in San Diego, CA from 1986 to 2004. I specialized in things that "don't move" such as architecture, products, food, art, quilts, museums and automotive repair systems. This San Diego Home/Garden Lifestyles article, published in 2006, has some of my older work. It's a house I photographed for IS Architecture in the early 2000's. Since leaving "the city" I've been looking for a way to utilize my photographic skills in a way that I can make a living. I looked at virtual tours before but it wasn't until I found Real Tour Vision that I decided I could make it work. I insist on the best quality and this technology allows for that. It also allows me to offer you a product that you can afford!

I use a high end Nikon digital SLR camera with a wide angle lens that gives a perspective not possible with point and shoot cameras. I use a high powered external flash diffused to balance the light in the room and allow for proper outdoor exposures through the windows. Everything is shot on a heavy duty tripod for longer exposures with balanced lighting and my specialized panoramic hardware has been calibrated to the software to produce professional results. You won't be disappointed!

I'm a Realtor as well, with Advantage Chatuge Realty in Hayesville North Carolina. This gives me insight into what you are looking for. It's also given me a chance to pick a lot of Realtors brains about what's important to them. I worked with architects and the marketing people representing builders frequently in San Diego which has given me additional insight. When you hire me, you are putting me on your team. I work primarily in the southwest NC and northeast GA mountain area specializing in Clay County NC and Towns County GA. I also work in Cherokee and Macon Counties in NC as well as Union, Fannin and Gilmer Counties in GA but am also happy to travel to the greater Atlanta, Asheville and Chatanooga areas which are all within about 2 hours of me.
